By downloading, installing, or using the Examius mobile application (iOS and Android) or accessing the Examius website at examius.com (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Examius is an exam preparation platform that provides AI-powered study planning, mock test generation, AI grading, past paper access, and educational chat assistance. The Service is available on iOS, Android, and web platforms.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Examius offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Free users may see advertisements and have limited access to certain features. Paid subscriptions unlock additional features and remove advertisements. Subscription pricing, features, and billing cycles are displayed at the time of purchase.

5. AI-Generated Content

Examius uses artificial intelligence to generate study plans, mock tests, grading feedback, and chat responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only and may contain errors. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for exam preparation. Examius does not guarantee any specific exam results or outcomes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without permission.
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Share your account credentials with third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Examius and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

8. User Content

By uploading images, text, or other content to the Service (such as handwritten answer sheets for AI grading), you grant Examius a non-exclusive license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Examius and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
