Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions and purchases made through the Examius mobile application (iOS and Android) and the Examius website at examius.com. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, please review the terms below.

2. Subscription Purchases

2.1 Web Purchases (Stripe)

For subscriptions purchased through our website via Stripe, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the Service. After 7 days, refunds are not available for the current billing period, but you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

2.2 iOS Purchases (Apple App Store)

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policies. To request a refund for an iOS purchase, you must contact Apple directly through reportaproblem.apple.com or the Settings app on your device. Examius cannot process refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store.

2.3 Android Purchases (Google Play Store)

Subscriptions purchased through the Google Play Store are subject to Google's refund policies. To request a refund for an Android purchase, you may contact Google through the Google Play Store app or visit Google Play subscriptions. Examius cannot process refunds for purchases made through the Google Play Store.

3. How to Request a Refund

For web purchases (Stripe), to request a refund:

  1. Email us at info@examius.com with the subject line “Refund Request”.
  2. Include your registered email address and the reason for the refund.
  3. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

  • Web: Cancel through the Billing page in your Examius dashboard.
  • iOS: Cancel through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.
  • Android: Cancel through Google Play Store > Subscriptions on your device.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Partial billing periods after cancellation.
  • Subscriptions beyond the 7-day refund window (for web purchases).
  • Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violating our Terms and Conditions.
  • Free-tier usage or features.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

We may, at our sole discretion, offer refunds outside of the standard policy in cases of technical issues, service outages, or billing errors that significantly impacted your experience. Please contact us with details of the issue.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
